65NAFDAC Product Registration
If you want to do business in Nigeria and your business involves food, drug, medical devices, cosmetics or chemicals, then you must face NAFDAC Registration.
NAFDAC Registration of products ensure you have the right to sell your products freely without fear of harassment. The registration of products is not an easy process as there always seem to be faults with your product.
On of the key areas to focus on is Labelling
Labelling of Products for NAFDAC Registration
First, the product must be labeled in English. There may be other languages on it but English is a must.
Secondly, you must make a provision for NAFDAC Registration number on the packaging. This shows NAFDAC that you would be willing to have the number printed on the pack after registration.
Thirdly, no matter how beautiful the pictures on your packs are, NAFDAC Nigeria will not allow them on prescription drugs. they would also not allow obscene pictures.
NAFDAC in Nigeria has a strict labeling requirement for baby formula and will not allow pictures on them that encourage mothers to bottle feed. So pictures of a healthy smiling baby are not acceptable.
NAFDAC Registration is neccesary
